About MHC

The McCloud Healthcare Clinic (MHC) was founded in 2000 to serve the needs of the community of McCloud following the 1998 closure of the McCloud Community Clinic. Local funds were raised to open the clinic, in addition to grant funds awarded by the Redding Medical Center Foundation, North Sierra Rural Health Network and Blue Cross of California.
Today, the McCloud location is the administrative hub and also houses the Dental Center.

The McCloud Clinic services include primary care, behavioral health, chiropractic care, massage therapy, podiatry, diabetes treatment, and referrals for specialist care.

Private insurance is accepted, as well as Medi-Cal (Partnership Health Plan) , Medicare and Covered California insurances.

After serving the Mount Shasta area for nearly 30 years, Siskiyou Medical Group has been managed by Shasta Cascade Health Centers since September 2018. Shasta Valley Community Health Center became part of the Shasta Cascade Health Centers family of clinics in January 2019.

About DCHC

The Dunsmuir Community Health Center (DCHC) was opened as a Shasta Cascade Health Centers location in 2012, at first on a part-time basis. A Federal 330 grant awarded in 2013 allowed the Dunsmuir clinic to open full-time in early 2014.

Insurance: We currently only accept Medi-Cal Dental (usually included as a benefit for Partnership HealthPlan enrollees), cash pay or our sliding fee discount program based on family size and income. Our reasoning for this is the limited access points available for this insurance type in the County. If you need assistance in enrollment in Medi-Cal Dental or our Sliding Fee Discount, please contact our office for an appointment with our patient navigator.

Basic Services: We see adults and children and provide exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns. If you have questions about a service, please feel free to call or text our offices.

Medical insurance is not required to receive services at our Clinics.
