About DCHC

The Dunsmuir Community Health Center (DCHC) was opened as a Shasta Cascade Health Centers location in 2012, at first on a part-time basis. A Federal 330 grant awarded in 2013 allowed the Dunsmuir clinic to open full-time in early 2014. We have recently renamed the clinic Shasta Cascade - Dunsmuir, to better reflect our commitment to the community in South County.

Services
​
The Dunsmuir Clinic services include primary care, behavioral health, chiropractic care, massage therapy, diabetes treatment, and referrals for specialist care.

Insurance & Discounts
​
Private insurance is accepted, as well as Medi-Cal (Partnership Health Plan), Medicare and Covered California insurances.
Don't have insurance? Need help paying for your appointment? Just let us know and we can provide you with information about our Sliding Fee Discount Program or our options for enrollment in Medi-Cal or Covered California. We are committed to improving the overall health and well-being of our communities, so income is never a barrier to care.

Shasta Cascade Health Centers receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. Shasta Cascade Health Centers is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable under the law.
​
Medical insurance is not required to receive services at our Clinics.
